I am Assistant Curator of Mammals at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. My projects explore biodiversity through systematics, ecology, biogeography, and evolution. My research interests lay in revealing mammal diversity, its ecological interactions and adaptations, and the driving mechanisms shaping the world as we see it today. My earlier projects focused on taxonomy and systematics of Neotropical mammals, extending from rodents and bats to armadillos and wild cats. Over the past years, I expanded my research fields to address topics related to evolutionary biology, macroecology, and conservation. This vast field of interest allows me to apply multiple methodological approaches to my projects.
